Dr. Rakesh Radhakrishnan is a senior manager in energy technology and innovation for Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia. Formerly, he was the Director, Advisory Services, Commodities & Energy at Thomson Reuters. Prior to this position, Rakesh served as Associate Director at Navigant Consulting. He led Solar Energy Projects at United Technologies Research Center and conducted postdoctoral research at Washington State University. Dr. Radhakrishnan currently advises private and public sector clients in the energy industry on technology and business strategy centered around renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions. His broad expertise includes: developing innovation strategy for technology insertion into new and existing products, leading research and product development initiatives, supporting investment initiatives and developing novel business models to enhance market adoption of new energy technologies. Rakesh has led the development of clean energy strategies for several US states and private companies. He has also managed technical and business due diligence projects for investors in the clean tech space. Rakesh holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, Tepper School of Business, a PhD. from Virginia Polytechnical Institute and other degrees and certifications from MIT, the University of Virginia and the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
